Design Section C-4: Pentagon Route. Subsurface Investigation
Results of five supplementary borings made for the subway tunnel crossing the Potomac River on the line of Eye Street extended are summarized in the report. It contains revised geological sections which present the results of these new borings with the borings made earlier along this line, logs of the new borings, engineering laboratory test results and conclusions regarding subsurface properties.
