The proposed highway construction will be to improve a 14.5 mile segment of U.S. Highway 6 between the Villages of Wauneta and Palisade in Chase, Hayes and Hitchcock Counties, Nebraska, and the construction of a spur road on new alignment into the Village of Hamlet. The roadways will be of a high type surfacing with turf shoulders. A summary of environmental impact and adverse environmental effects are discussed. (Author)
