The report presents a comprehensive development plan for the Lake Dardanelle Metropolitan Area, 10 square miles of land located on the southerly shore of Lake Dardanelle immediately northwest of the city of Dardanelle. Adoption of a comprehensive general plan is recommended to help achieve a diversified economic base composed of a balance of agricultural production, commerce and trade, compatible industry, recreational and cultural facilities, and progressive administration and services.
