A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Comprehensive Plan: Breckenridge Hills, Missouri
Commercial development of Breckenridge Hills is concentrated along St. Charles Rock Road (State Highway 180) and Woodson Road. Together these two arterials form the backbone of the Village's street system. The plan recommends certain improvements on both of these roads to be coordinated with improvements on the Breckenridge Hills Shopping Center and the business district along Woodson Road. Due to a severe lack of recreational facilities, the park plan proposes several small neighborhood parks and a larger municipal park. Because of expressed strong citizens' concern, Coldwater Creek received special attention and alternative methods of improving its channel have been proposed.
