Baltimore Region Rapid Transit Study. Volume IV. Lower Northwest Transit Corridor
The report evaluated the possible environmental impact of a segment of a proposed northwest rapid transit route (4 stations) and (2) reviews five alternative route alignments and station locations. It identifies the objectives of the local planning agencies and the neighborhood interests within the transit corridors. It defines constraints and opportunities and outlines two feasible alternatives to the proposed route, which (a) have a less disruptive effect on the neighborhood they traverse, (b) reach an equal or larger number of people (c) cost less to construct and (d) provide a greater development potential in the station area.
