Dynamic Features of Typical Vehicles Under Low Pressure and Oxygen Deficient Environment in High Altitude Areas
According to the analysis results of traffic accidents, traffic volume and its composition in Chap. 2, main vehicles involved in traffic accidents in high altitude areas are passenger cars and trucks, especially semi-trailer combination of vehicles have higher dangerous coefficients. Therefore, in this chapter, by selecting typical vehicle types in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau area as the main research object, analyzing the principle of the effect of low pressure and oxygen deficient environment generated by high altitude on the performance of vehicle engines and other vehicle power equipment, determining the main factors and forms of influence, establishing a model of vehicle dynamics and braking performance changes under high altitude areas low pressure and oxygen deficient environment, developing a vehicle performance test system in high altitude and alpine environment, analyze and research the impact of high altitude and alpine conditions on vehicle power performance and braking performance.
