Thermal capacity, intermittent heating and condensation
Based primarily on computer modelling, research by the UK Cement and Concrete Association has highlighted the importance of high thermal capacity of a house in maintaining higher temperatures during the 'off' period of normal intermittent space heating. These latter temperatures have a crucial bearing on the risks of condensation.
