Postscript: Draft City of Adelaide Plan 1986–1991
The last issue of Urban Policy and Research contained a review of the draft City of Adelaide Plan (UP&R, June 1987). Between the time of preparing that review and its publication a number of changes were made to the draft plan's proposals and some substantial commercial projects have been recommended for approval in the City of Adelaide which are in conflict with some of the expressed intentions of the draft plan in both its earlier and later forms. I am grateful to the editors of Urban Policy and Research for providing me with the space to add a brief postscript to my review which reports on these developments.
