To improve the strength of PC (Portland cement) strand up to 2300 N/mm² grade, silicon addition hypereutectoid steel which maintains its nano-microstructure after heat treatment was developed and fabricated to PC strand for testing. Properties such as grip efficiency, bending strength, relaxation, fatigue,and corrosion, in addition to tensile strength, were also confirmed to meet the requirements for PC strand.
