Committee Report: Research Needs for Inorganic Contaminants
This report discusses research needs for specific inorganic contaminants of concern to the water industry. Aluminum, arsenic and selenium, bromide, iron and manganese, nitrate, and radionuclides are examined in terms of their significance and occurrence. The types of conventional and emerging treatment technologies used to reduce concentrations of these contaminants in water supplies are identified.
