The invention relates to a vanadium zirconium blue ceramic pigment and belongs to the technical field of ceramic pigment processing. The vanadium zirconium blue ceramic pigment is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 30-60 parts of zirconium nitrate, 20-50 parts of ultrafine silicon dioxide, 15-35 parts of ammonium metavanadate, 20-40 parts of ammonium acetate, 10-40 parts of absolute ethyl alcohol and 1-10 parts of mineralizer; the preparation method of the vanadium zirconium blue ceramic pigment comprises the following steps: weighing the components proportionally and mixing evenly, putting the mixture into an electric furnace of which the temperature is set for reacting, and continuously calcining to obtain the vanadium zirconium blue ceramic pigment; the average grain diameter of the ceramic pigment powder is 0.83 microns and the particle size distribution is concentrated; and the ceramic pigment is mixed with a glaze and fired, and then is stable and even in color generation and normal in color development.
