The invention discloses a pine-like decorative material and a preparation method thereof. The pine-like decorative material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 60-70 parts of ardealite, 8-12 parts of coal ashes, 20-30 parts of yellow phosphorus slag and 1-5 parts of quicklime. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, carrying out ball-milling on the yellow phosphorus slag, and mixing the obtained slag powder with ardealite, coal ashes and water; carrying out natural ageing treatment; adding water, stirring evenly, and pouring into a mold; and conserving the molded ardealite base material, and then carrying out spraying treatment. The pine-like decorative material is mainly prepared from ardealite so that the current situation that ardealite is piled up like a mountain is solved; therefore, the pine-like decorative material is of great significance for environment protection and realization of sustainable development.
