The invention discloses a novel bamboo charcoal screen window with functions of air filtering and purification. The novel bamboo charcoal screen window is pretty convenient to assemble and disassemble and comprises a quadrangular screen window component and pressure joint components in pressure joint with four sides of the screen window component. The screen window component comprises an outer bamboo charcoal fiber layer, a middle bamboo charcoal packet filtering layer and an inner bamboo charcoal fiber layer. The middle bamboo charcoal packet filtering layer is formed by a plurality of rectangular bamboo charcoal packets in array distribution. Each pressure joint component comprises two pressure blocks in opposite symmetric arrangement, wherein opposite sides of the two pressure blocks are provided with parallel pressure joint surfaces with anti-slip lines, one side, away from the pressure joint component, of each pressure block is provided with an extension piece, and the two pressure blocks are connected through a fastener which penetrates through the extension pieces of the two pressure blocks.
