Light-weight diatomite plate and preparation method thereof
A light-weight diatomite plate is characterized by being prepared from following raw materials, by weight, 50-60 parts of diatomite, 15-25 parts of bentonite, 10-15 parts of cement, 0.5-2 parts of natural linen fiber, 10-15 parts of an expanded perlite powder material, 3-5 parts of re-dispersable latex powder, 0.5-1 part of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and 0.1-0.5 parts of a defoaming agent. The diatomite is far lower than quartz sand in hardness, so that the material is easier to cut during building construction, thereby greatly improving construction efficiency. Meanwhile, by means of the expanded perlite powder material, the diatomite plate is lighter in weight, so that an object of reducing weight in building is achieved. The diatomite cement plate is light in weight, is easy to cut, has the effects of insulating sound, preserving heat and being high in rupture strength.
