The invention discloses a mullite fiber toughened Al2O3-SiC-C refractory castable for a blast furnace tapping channel and a preparation method of the mullite fiber toughened Al2O3-SiC-C refractory castable, which relate to the technical field of refractory castables. The method comprises the following steps: pouring 55-65 parts by mass of brown fused alumina, 20-30 parts by mass of silicon carbide, 0.3-0.9 part by mass of mullite fiber and 1-3 parts by mass of spherical asphalt into a stirrer, and stirring for 10-20 minutes; and then pouring 6-10 parts by mass of alpha-aluminum oxide micro powder, 2-4 parts by mass of pure calcium aluminate cement, 0.5-1.5 parts by mass of silicon micro powder and 0.05-0.15 part by mass of a water reducing agent, and performing uniform stirring so as to obtain the mullite fiber toughened Al2O3-SiC-C refractory castable for the blast furnace tapping channel. The preparation method is simple in process and wide in raw material source, and the prepared mullite fiber toughened Al2O3-SiC-C refractory castable for the blast furnace tapping channel is high in strength and good in thermal shock stability.
