The invention discloses an assembly type steel crown beam supporting system in an SMW construction method pile and a construction method thereof. The assembly type steel crown beam supporting system comprises H-shaped steel, an assembly type steel crown beam, a cross brace support and a cross brace, wherein the H-shaped steel is inserted into a concrete mixing pile, and the steel flange directionis parallel to a foundation pit supporting line; the steel crown beam comprises longitudinal steel plates attached to the outer sides of flanges on the two sides of the upper end of the H-shaped steelcorrespondingly, rib steel plates distributed and fixed along the inner sides of the longitudinal steel plates and clamping plates, the rib steel plates on the longitudinal steel plates on the two sides are stacked together front and back, the rib steel plates stacked on the two sides of an H-shaped steel web are oppositely pulled and fixed through bolts and supported on the H-shaped steel web, and the clamping plates are located on the two sides of the joint of the two longitudinal steel plates and clamp and fix the two longitudinal steel plates through bolts; and the cross brace support isclamped on the upper portions of the longitudinal steel plates through clamping grooves with downward inner side openings and fixed to the outer sides of the longitudinal steel plates through bolts, and the two ends of the cross brace support are supported and limited in limiting supporting grooves with upward outer side openings of the cross brace support correspondingly.
