The invention discloses a low-expansion-rate, thermal-shock-resistant, erosion-resistant and high-strength castable. The castable is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight:0.01 to 28 percent of fused quartz particles with the particle size of 3.1 to 5mm, 20 to 35 percent of fused quartz particles with the particle size of 1.1 to 3mm, 10 to 20 percent of fused quartz particles with the particle size of 0.01 to 1mm, 10 to 15 percent of 200-mesh silicon carbide powder, 1 to 3 percent of 320-mesh sepiolite powder, 3 to 5 percent of yttrium-stabilized zirconium oxide, 3to 8 percent of silicon micropowder, 1 to 3 percent of metallic silicon powder, 4 to 8 percent of active alumina micropowder, 3 to 5 percent of beryllium oxide, 8 to 12 percent of silicon sol, and 0.01-0.2 percent of sodium hexametaphosphate. According to the invention, fused quartz is used as aggregate with addition of silicon carbide powder, silicon micropowder, metal silicon powder, activated aluminum oxide micropowder, silica sol, sepiolite powder, yttria-stabilized zirconia and beryllium oxide to prepare the castable, so that the volume density of the manufactured push plate is 1.95 g/cm< 3 >, the volume density of the push plate is obviously reduced, and the thermal shock stability of the push plate is higher.
