The parking robot comprises a vehicle clamping and lifting system, a travelling system and a travelling track, wherein the travelling system is provided with a longitudinal moving wheel set and a transverse moving wheel set; the longitudinal moving wheel set comprises a longitudinal moving shaft provided with longitudinal moving wheels, and the longitudinal moving shaft is in transmission connection with longitudinal moving motors; the transverse moving wheel set comprises transverse moving wheels, the transverse moving wheels are in transmission connection with transverse moving motors through transverse moving driving gears and chains, the transverse moving wheels and the transverse moving driving gears are installedon a transverse and longitudinal switching set, and the transverse and longitudinal switching set is in transmission connection with a switching motor through synchronous bevel gears and a synchronous shaft. Transverse and longitudinal travelling is integrated, the number of auxiliary devices is reduced, the space is saved, and the cost is reduced; longitudinal front and rear operation and transverse front and rear operation can be realized; and the four-way shuttle clamping type parking robot is compact in structure and can be suitable for garage types such as large-scale planar movement andvertical lifting.
