The invention relates to a building adopting a vertical supply and vertical exhaust ventilation system. The building adopts an air isolation structure with multiple layers in the vertical direction and multiple passageways in the horizontal direction, the building comprises a fresh air distribution layer and multiple horizontal layers, wherein multiple air supply and exhaust modules are arranged in the horizontal layers, the multiple passageways partition the multiple air supply and exhaust modules through air, and each air supply and exhaust module comprises at least one functional space unit. The vertical supply and vertical exhaust ventilation system adopts three-section type three-dimensional air supply and air exhaust and involves horizontally pressing fresh air in the environment ofthe fresh air distribution layer and vertically conveying the fresh air through fresh air vertical wells, expanding the fresh air at each horizontal layer to replace dirty air, gathering the dirty airof each horizontal layer to be vertically exhausted through vertical wells, and the ventilation problem of large-volume and ultra-large-volume buildings, namely, the problem of fresh air entry and dirty air exhaust is solved, and the technical objective of increasing the three-dimensional size of the building, increasing the volume of the building, reducing the specific surface area and improvingthe volume fraction is achieved.
