The invention provides a low-creep clay refractory brick for a carbon furnace and a preparation method thereof. The low-creep clay refractory brick for the carbon furnace is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 28-32% of andalusite aggregate, 13-17% of andalusite powder, 8-12% of emery powder, 18-22% of third-grade aggregate, 6-10% of kyanite powder, 6-10% of third-grade high-aluminum powder and 7-11% of a binding agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) crushing the raw materials; (2) preparing a green brick; and (3) putting the prepared green brick into a kiln, and conducting sintering at 1460 DEG C to obtain a finished product. The low-creep clay refractory brick for the carbon has the characteristics of high refractoriness under load, high high-temperature breaking strength, low porosity, good creep resistance and the like, and the performance of the low-creep clay refractory brick can completely meet the use requirement of a carbon furnace.
