本发明涉及一种添加包覆粉体的陶瓷刀具及其制备方法和应用。所述陶瓷刀具的各原料的体积份数为纳米CaF2@SiO2包覆粉体5‑15份、Al2O359‑66份、TiC 25.53‑28.35份和MgO 0.1‑2份,Al2O3和TiC体积比的比例为5~8:3;与传统的陶瓷刀具制备方法相比,针对纳米粉体容易团聚的问题,采用了多次分散的方式。为了防止过长的球磨过程对包覆粉体的结构造成破坏,本发明在球磨后期加入纳米包覆粉体时,采用分散剂和超声分散的方式对纳米包覆粉体进行分散后加入球磨罐中。避免了纳米包覆粉体的聚集,从一定程度上提升了刀具性能。
