The invention discloses a limiting device of a tree-shaped telescopic guide rail type stereo garage. The limiting device comprises an upper sliding groove, a lower sliding groove, a guide plate and abaffle. The upper sliding groove is formed in the upper side of a fixed guide rail, the lower sliding groove is formed in the lower side of the fixed guide rail, the guide plate is arranged above theupper sliding groove and below the lower sliding groove, one end of the guide plate is in a wedge shape, the guide plate is located at the moving-in and moving-out end of a vehicle carrying plate, andthe baffle is arranged at the end, away from the moving-in and moving-out end of the vehicle carrying plate, of the lower sliding groove. Compared with the prior art, through the arrangement of the guide plate and the baffle, the vehicle carrying plate can move into the fixed guide rail more conveniently by means of the guide plate, the baffle avoids the situation that the vehicle carrying platecontinues to move under the action of impulse and consequently is disengaged from the fixed guide rail, potential safety hazards are reduced, and meanwhile the stability generated when vehicles are arranged on the two sides of the stereo garage in a suspended manner is guaranteed.
