The invention discloses a polycarboxylate superplasticizer for concrete and a preparation method of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer. The polycarboxylate superplasticizer comprises the following components in parts by weight: 8-40 parts of unsaturated phosphate oligomer; 150 to 250 parts of a polyether macromonomer; 5 to 15 parts of first unsaturated acid; 0.5 to 5 parts of an oxidant; 0.1 to 1 part of a reducing agent; 0.5 to 5 parts of a chain transfer agent; and 162 to 1575 parts of water. Concrete mixed with the polycarboxylate superplasticizer has good fluidity, mud resistance and slump loss resistance.
