The invention discloses a composite floor slab for a building and a construction method. The composite floor slab for the building is characterized in that the composite floor slab comprises a prefabricated concrete slab, a cast-in-place concrete slab and a prefabricated cement fiberboard, wherein upwards protruding built-in steel nails are arranged at the two ends of the prefabricated concrete slab; threaded parts at the tails of the built-in steel nails extend out of the prefabricated concrete slab; one or a plurality of through grooves A are formed in the cast-in-place concrete plate in the transverse direction or the longitudinal direction; through grooves B matched with the through grooves A in the cast-in-place concrete plate are formed in the bottom of the cement fiberboard; water and electricity pipelines are arranged in a cavity formed by the through grooves A and the through grooves B; the two sides, corresponding to the built-in steel nails, of the cement fiberboard are respectively provided with U-shaped grooves with the same number as that of the built-in steel nails; the tails of the built-in steel nails penetrate through a locking board to be located in the U-shaped grooves; the tails of the built-in steel nails are connected with nuts in a threaded mode; and the nuts abut against the locking board.
