The invention discloses an engine and transfer case connecting device and an excavator. The engine and transfer case connecting device comprises a transmission shaft, a transmission sleeve, a pressure plate, an oil injection device and a driven flange plate, wherein one end of the transmission shaft is connected with an engine output flange, and the outer wall of the other end of the transmission shaft is connected with a plurality of driving discs; the transmission shaft is sleeved with the transmission sleeve, the inner wall of the transmission sleeve is connected with a plurality of driven discs, and the driven discs and the driving disc are arranged in a crossed mode; the pressing disc is limited in the transmission sleeve through a sealing plate connected to the transmission sleeve, and elastic parts are arranged in the pressing disc, so that the pressing disc axially presses the driving discs and the driven discs which are arranged in a crossed mode, and power transmission is achieved; the oil injection device is arranged on the transmission sleeve and communicates with the pressing disc, pressure oil pushes the pressing disc through an oil way of the transmission sleeve to compress the elastic parts and separate the elastic parts away from the driven discs, and power cut-off is achieved; and one end of the driven flange plate is connected with the transmission sleeve, and the other end of the driven flange plate is connected with a transfer case input flange. The engine and transfer case connecting device can solve the problems that an engine of a hydraulic excavator is difficult to start, large in abrasion and high in energy consumption in winter, especially in extremely cold weather effectively.
