The gypsum plaster board comprises a board core and surface protection paper, and the board core is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: dihydrate gypsum formed by hydration of 100 parts of gypsum clinker, 0.25-4 parts of bonding starch, 0.2-0.3 part of board type starch, 0-0.6 part of a water reducing agent, and 0-0.1 part of a foaming agent. According to the preparation method, the phenomenon of poor bonding or paper release of the plasterboard head caused by too high temperature when the plasterboard slate is dried in a drying system can be effectively prevented; and the bonding of the board core and the surface protection paper of the gypsum board is effectively improved.
