Porous SiC ceramic material and preparation method thereof
The invention belongs to the technical field of high-temperature structural ceramics, and discloses a porous SiC ceramic material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing SiC particles with liquid polycarbosilane, and pressing into a green body; and carrying out microwave sintering treatment on the green body at the temperature of 1000-1300 DEG C to obtain the porous SiC ceramic material. Liquid polycarbosilane is added into SiC particles to serve as a precursor, the precursor is subjected to microwave sintering treatment, and gas generated by pyrolysis of the precursor is excited into plasma under the action of a microwave field by means of the unique heat effect of microwaves, namely the microwave coupling heat effect and the plasma heat effect; the generated local instant high temperature melts and solidifies the surrounding SiC particles together, and meanwhile, the silicon carbide generated by pyrolysis of the precursor can also be used as a connecting phase to exist among the silicon carbide particles, so that the synthesized porous SiC ceramic has excellent mechanical properties.
本发明属于高温结构陶瓷技术领域,公开了一种多孔SiC陶瓷材料及其制备方法;所述制备方法为:将SiC颗粒与液态聚碳硅烷混合均匀后,压制成坯体;将坯体于1000~1300℃的温度下进行微波烧结处理,得到所述多孔SiC陶瓷材料。本发明通过在SiC颗粒中加入液态聚碳硅烷作为前驱体,并对其进行微波烧结处理,依靠微波独有的热效应,即微波耦合热效应和等离子体热效应,结合前驱体热解产生的气体在微波场的作用下被激发为等离子体,产生局部的瞬间高温把周边的SiC颗粒熔融固结到一起,同时前驱体热解产生的碳化硅也可以作为连接相存在于碳化硅颗粒之间,使合成的多孔SiC陶瓷具有优良的力学性能。
