The invention belongs to the related technical field of soft soil composite foundation embankments, and discloses a rib and rib ring supported assembly type wrapped gravel pile and a construction method thereof.The wrapped gravel pile comprises a porous sealing bottom and a pile body with one end connected to the porous sealing bottom; the pile body comprises a gravel pile, an annular rib ring, a plurality of vertical ribs and a geotechnical cloth sleeve, and the periphery of the gravel pile is sleeved with the geotechnical cloth sleeve; every two vertical ribs form a group, and the two vertical ribs in one group of vertical ribs are symmetrically arranged on the inner side and the outer side, opposite to each other, of the geotechnical cloth sleeve correspondingly. One end of each vertical rib is connected to the porous sealing bottom, and the other end of each vertical rib is connected to the annular rib ring. The vertical ribs play a role in reinforcing and preventing wrinkles on the sleeve; the use of the horizontal and vertical self-locking bolts simplifies the sewing or welding process of the sleeve and the back cover of the single wrapped gravel pile, provides a scheme for the multi-section assembly of the deep and long pile, and solves the problem of overlarge local expansion of the pile body.
