The invention relates to a connecting assembly and a building structure, the connecting assembly comprises a first sleeve, a second sleeve, a middle sleeve, a connecting sleeve and an inserting rod, and the connecting sleeve comprises a first connecting part and an elastic part which are connected with each other; one end of the inserting rod is fixedly connected to the first sleeve, the other end of the inserting rod is fixedly connected to the first connecting part of the connecting sleeve, and the elastic part is located on the side, relatively close to the first sleeve, of the first connecting part; the middle sleeve extends into the second sleeve and is fixedly connected to the second sleeve; the connecting sleeve can be inserted into the middle sleeve along with the inserting rod, and the elastic part can elastically contract to enter the middle sleeve and can elastically expand to abut against the end, relatively away from the first sleeve, of the middle sleeve. According to the connecting assembly, the butt joint smoothness, accuracy and splicing firmness between the concrete precast piles can be effectively improved, the construction time is effectively shortened, and the connecting assembly is simple in overall process, low in cost, wide in applicability and excellent in economic benefit.
