The invention relates to a connecting assembly and a building structure, the connecting assembly comprises a first sleeve, a second sleeve, a middle sleeve, a connecting sleeve and an inserting rod, the connecting sleeve comprises a first connecting part and an elastic part which are connected with each other, and the peripheral wall of at least part of the elastic part has an axial radian; the two ends of the inserting rod are fixedly connected to the first sleeve and the first connecting part correspondingly. The elastic part is located on the side, relatively close to the first sleeve, of the first connecting part. The middle sleeve extends into and is fixed in the second sleeve; the connecting sleeve can be inserted into the middle sleeve along with the inserting rod, and the elastic part can elastically contract into the middle sleeve and can elastically expand to abut against the end, relatively away from the first sleeve, of the middle sleeve. According to the connecting assembly, the elastic part with the axial radian on the peripheral wall can enter the middle sleeve more smoothly in the inserting process of the inserting rods, the inserting smoothness of the inserting rods is effectively improved, and when a plurality of connecting assemblies are assembled in a butt joint mode at the same time, the phenomenon of clamping or dislocation is not prone to occurring in inserting of the inserting rods.
