The invention belongs to the technical field of building construction, and discloses a construction method of an obstacle-crossing cable structure system, which is applied to a construction environment in which large convex obstacles or pit obstacles exist in a projection area of the cable structure system, and comprises the following steps of: firstly, selecting an area without obstacles or with the smallest obstacle as a cable unfolding area of a single inhaul cable; and the inhaul cable is lifted to a preset height position after being unfolded and flattened in the cable unfolding area and then moves to cross the obstacle until the inhaul cable reaches a designated installation point, and finally the inhaul cable is installed and tensioned in place. Besides, the multiple inhaul cables are sequentially installed in place according to the construction sequence, the inhaul cables which are installed in place can be utilized, operation equipment can be arranged on the inhaul cables, a platform is provided for transportation and construction of personnel and materials on the inhaul cables, and installation of other sub-structures or decoration structures and the like of the cable structure system is achieved. According to the construction method, the obstacle can be avoided without erecting a tedious support structure in the obstacle area, installation of the cable structure system is completed, and the construction cost and the construction risk are effectively reduced.
