The damper comprises a friction sleeve, the friction sleeve is used for being arranged outside a piston rod in a sleeving mode, the inner circumferential wall of the friction sleeve is tightly attached to the outer circumferential wall of the piston rod, and the friction sleeve can contract and deform when subjected to external pressure; the elastic pressure applying assembly is arranged outside the friction sleeve in a sleeving mode, and the elastic pressure applying assembly can stretch and deform to apply pressure to the friction sleeve when subjected to external pressure; and the pre-pressing elastic piece is arranged outside the friction sleeve in a sleeving mode, and one end of the pre-pressing elastic piece is connected with one end of the elastic pressure applying assembly in an abutting mode. The friction sleeve, the elastic pressure applying assembly and the pre-pressing elastic piece are not affected by factors such as temperature, humidity and air pressure in the external environment, so that the damping effect on the piston rod can be stable, the preset damping can be flexibly adjusted by controlling the elastic pre-tightening pressure of the pre-pressing elastic piece, and the requirements of different use occasions are met.
