The invention provides a ship lockage guiding system and method, and belongs to the field of navigation control. The ship lockage guiding system comprises a dispatching management module, an identity recognition module and a control module. The dispatching management module is used for arranging the passing gate frequency and the lock chamber berthing position of the ship to be locked within a preset time period according to at least one of the size of the ship to be locked, the ship load, the ship type, the cargo information, the predicted lock passing time, the size of the lock chamber and the number of the ship tying hooks, and a lock passing plan is formed; the identity recognition module is used for recognizing the ship number and/or the ship name of the ship to be locked and acquiring the identity information of the ship to be locked; and the control module is used for receiving the lockage passing plan formulated by the dispatching management module and the identity information, acquired by the identity recognition module, of the ship to be locked, and controlling ship lock equipment according to the lockage time and/or the passing gate number, corresponding to the identity information, of the ship to be locked in the lockage passing plan. The embodiment of the invention can guide the ship to quickly pass through the lock.
