Low-cost hollow silicon carbide microsphere and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a low-cost hollow silicon carbide microsphere and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of inorganic filler preparation. The method comprises the following steps: mixing silica sol, cane sugar, a modifier and multilayer graphene according to a dosage ratio, and performing spray drying by a spray dryer to obtain microspheres; carrying out coating treatment, drying treatment, carbonization treatment and sintering treatment on the microbeads to obtain sintered microbeads; and treating the sintered micro-beads by adopting a vapor deposition process to obtain the low-cost hollow silicon carbide micro-beads of which the interiors are honeycomb-shaped silicon carbide frameworks and the exteriors are compact silicon carbide shells. On the basis that the silicon source and the carbon source are in full contact and the compressive strength of the prepared hollow silicon carbide microbeads is enhanced, tedious treatment such as alcohol gel forming, aging agent adding and medium replacing is not needed, the operation process is simple, and the manufacturing cost is low.
