The invention relates to the technical field of steel structure roof construction, and provides a hoisting construction method for a large-span steel structure roof. The main trusses are attached to the temporary supporting columns, and truss sections of the main trusses are assembled on a pre-assembling platform; integrally hoisting the first main truss on the pre-assembly platform to the main body structure by using a crawler crane; supporting the first main truss by using an inclined temporary supporting piece connected with the main body structure; and the crawler crane and the tower crane are used for alternately hoisting the next primary truss and the next secondary truss till all the primary trusses and all the secondary trusses of the steel structure roof are hoisted to the main body structure. The construction efficiency is improved, the high-altitude operation amount of workers is reduced, and the safety risk is greatly reduced.
