The invention relates to the field of building construction, in particular to curtain wall installation equipment and an installation method thereof.The curtain wall installation equipment comprises a climbing mechanism and an installation mechanism, the installation mechanism comprises a supporting frame, the top of the supporting frame is fixedly connected with a fixing column and a driving assembly, and a clamping assembly is hinged to the fixing column. The climbing mechanism is driven to jack the supporting frame layer by layer so as to meet the installation requirements of curtain wall window frames of different floors. The driving assembly is used for driving the clamping assembly to clamp the curtain wall window frame, and the horizontally-placed window frame is overturned to be in a vertical state so as to meet the position and angle requirements of building construction installation. The curtain wall window frame has the effect that an operator can conveniently install the curtain wall window frame.
