The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, in particular to environment-friendly lightweight concrete and a preparation method thereof. The environment-friendly lightweight concrete comprises the following components in parts by weight: 240-260 parts of Portland cement; 350 to 1000 parts of furnace bottom slag fine aggregate; 250 to 800 parts of stone chips; 400 to 1000 parts of a construction waste reclaimed material; and 100 to 200 parts of water. According to the invention, bulk industrial solid wastes such as the furnace bottom slag fine aggregate, the stone chips, the building reclaimed materials and the like are utilized, and multi-source inorganic solid wastes are synergistically utilized, so that the energy-saving and environment-friendly lightweight concrete can be prepared.
