The invention provides a preparation method of a quartz crucible and the quartz crucible. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a formed crucible blank; coating release agent slurry on the outer surface of the crucible green body; the release agent slurry comprises boron nitride, silica sol and deionized water; carrying out curing treatment on the crucible blank coated with the release agent slurry to obtain the quartz crucible; the outer surface of the quartz crucible is coated with a demolding layer; the demolding layer is obtained by curing demolding slurry. According to the embodiment of the invention, unnecessary damage to the carbon-carbon crucible is avoided while the demolding efficiency is improved, and the service life of the carbon-carbon crucible is prolonged.
