The invention discloses a high-temperature-resistant silicon oxide aerogel heat insulation felt and a preparation method thereof.The method comprises the steps that S1, a catalyst solution is added into prepared monodisperse silicon oxide sol of an alcohol solvent system, and the mixture is stirred to be uniform to obtain silicon oxide sol; the solvent of the catalyst solution is an alcohol solvent; s2, adding a surfactant into the silicon oxide sol, uniformly stirring, adding opacifying agent particles into the silicon oxide sol, and uniformly stirring to form the silicon oxide sol containing the opacifying agent; s3, immersing the ceramic fiber felt in silicon oxide sol containing an opacifying agent for gel aging to obtain a fiber felt/gel complex; and S4, drying the fibrofelt/gel complex to obtain the high-temperature-resistant silicon oxide aerogel heat insulation felt. The heat insulation felt prepared by the method has the characteristics of high temperature resistance of 1100 DEG C, excellent heat insulation performance, good flexibility, simplicity and convenience in installation and the like.
