The invention discloses a high-entropy boride ceramic ball as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The ceramic ball is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 30 to 65 parts of boride powder, 0.4 to 1.5 parts of an adhesive, 0.1 to 1.5 parts of a pH regulator, 0.1 to 1.5 parts of a defoaming agent and 0.6 to 1.5 parts of a dispersing agent. The sphericity degree of the ceramic ball is not less than 90%, the ball diameter range is 30-80 [mu] m, and the content of impurity oxygen and the content of impurity carbon in the ceramic ball are both lower than 1 wt%. The ceramic pellet provided by the invention can be suitable for preparing a high-entropy boride ceramic coating by a thermal spraying process.
