The invention provides an intelligent safety monitoring device and method for a vertical shaft sinking derrick foundation. According to the device, a plurality of bolt holes A are formed in a bottom plate, and a shielding cable groove is formed in the upper surface of the bottom plate; the lower opening end of the coaming is fixedly connected with the peripheral side surfaces of the bottom plate; a plurality of bolt holes B are formed in the connecting plate, and a gap is reserved between the connecting plate and the surrounding plate; the flexible sealing strip is embedded in a gap between the connecting plate and the surrounding plate; the plurality of force measuring elements are fixedly connected with the connecting plate and the bottom plate respectively; and the wireless measurement module is fixedly mounted on the outer side of the coaming and is connected with the plurality of force measurement elements through shielding cables. The method comprises the steps that the intelligent safety monitoring device for the vertical shaft sinking derrick foundation is installed between a vertical shaft sinking derrick corner post and the foundation; and the foundation stress of the vertical shaft sinking derrick is monitored. According to the device and the method, the load transmitted from the vertical shaft sinking derrick corner post to the sinking derrick foundation can be monitored in real time, and the load is important basic data for evaluating the working state of the vertical shaft sinking derrick.
