The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, taking lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate and zirconium nitrate pentahydrate as precursors, taking epoxypropane as a catalyst, and obtaining LZ sol in an absolute ethyl alcohol solvent; s2, tetraethoxysilane is taken as a precursor, hydrochloric acid is taken as a catalyst, hydrolysis is carried out in ethanol and a water solvent, and SiO2 sol is obtained; s3, dropwise adding the obtained SiO2 sol into LZ sol to obtain a mixed solution, and dropwise adding the mixed solution into an epoxypropane gel accelerator to obtain LZS sol; s4, dipping the pretreated fiber in the LZS sol or uniformly dripping the prepared LZS sol on the fiber until the fiber is fully infiltrated, applying pressure to the fiber through a mold, and standing in a drying oven to obtain FLZS gel; s5, subjecting the FLZS gel to aging and supercritical drying so as to obtain FLZS aerogel; the aerogel has a unique pyrochlore structure and good heat insulation performance and mechanical strength, and has an extremely good application prospect in the field of heat preservation and heat insulation.
