The invention discloses foam concrete as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of concrete materials. The foam concrete provided by the invention is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 500 to 1200 parts of cementing material, 10 to 800 parts of superfine filler, 1 to 30 parts of polyvinyl alcohol fiber and 100 to 800 parts of water, the raw materials further comprise nano-foam, and the volume ratio of the nano-foam to the cementing material is (0.05-30): 1; and the particle size range of the superfine filling material is 1-50 [mu] m. By adding the nano-foam, the cementing material, the superfine filler and the polyvinyl alcohol fiber, the hydration time of the foam concrete is effectively shortened, the compressive strength and the breaking strength of the foam concrete are improved, meanwhile, the percentage of close area in the foam concrete is increased, the water absorption rate and the thermal conductivity of the foam concrete are effectively reduced, and the foam concrete has a good application prospect. The foam concrete with low volume weight and high strength is obtained.
