The invention provides a method for preparing a multilayer foamed ceramic filter by recycling waste chrome corundum, and relates to the field of solid waste utilization. The method comprises the following steps: grinding and screening the waste chrome corundum to obtain fine particles and coarse particles; mixing the fine particles with cerium oxide and lanthanum oxide to obtain a first mixture, and mixing the coarse particles with zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide to obtain a second mixture; calcining to obtain first powder and second powder; mixing the first powder, water and polyacrylamide, and performing first stirring to obtain first slurry; mixing the second powder with ethanol and solvent oil, and performing second stirring to obtain second slurry; dipping the first slurry by taking soft polyurethane foam as a carrier, and then extruding and drying to obtain a first blank; dipping the first blank in the second slurry, and drying to obtain a second blank; and sintering the second blank, and cooling to obtain the foamed ceramic filter. According to the method provided by the invention, the foamed ceramic filter with excellent performance is prepared by fully recycling the waste chrome corundum.
