DISPLACEMENT SUPPRESSION SEISMIC ISOLATOR AND SEISMIC ISOLATION SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict excessive displacement caused by ex-assumption giant earthquake while keeping an effect of seismic isolation against middle and large-scale earthquakes in assumption.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a displacement restriction seismic isolator that is arranged between an upper structure and a lower structure together with a seismic isolator member for seismic isolating and supporting the upper structure. There are provided a displacement restricting resilient body that can be moved in a horizontal direction and formed to be shearable and deformable in a horizontal direction in respect to the lower structure, a lower displacement restricting part for restricting a relative horizontal displacement amount between the lower structure and the displacement restriction resilient body when the displacement restriction resilient body moves in a horizontal direction and an upper displacement restricting part for restricting a horizontal displacement amount when the displacement restriction resilient body and the upper structure are relatively moved in a horizontal direction while they are always spaced apart in a vertical direction. The displacement restriction resilient body shows that its motion toward a horizontal direction is restricted by the upper displacement restriction part and the lower displacement restriction part when a horizontal displacement amount of the upper structure in respect to the lower structure exceeds a total displacement amount of a horizontal displacement amount at the upper displacement restricting part and a horizontal displacement amount at the lower displacement restricting part and it is sheared and deformed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】想定内の中・大規模の地震に対する免震効果を維持しつつ、想定外の巨大な地震による過大な変位を抑制すること。【解決手段】上部構造物を免震支承する免震部材とともに、上部構造物と下部構造物の間に配置される変位抑制免震装置。下部構造物に対して水平方向に移動可能で且つ水平方向に剪断変形可能に形成される変位抑制弾性体と、変位抑制弾性体が水平方向に移動する際の下部構造物と変位抑制弾性体の相対的な水平変位量を規制する下部変位規制部と、変位抑制弾性体と上部構造物とを鉛直方向に常時離間させつつ相対的に水平方向に移動する際の水平変位量を規制する上部変位規制部と、を備え、変位抑制弾性体は、下部構造物に対する上部構造物の水平変位が、上部変位規制部における水平変位量と下部変位規制部における水平変位量との合計変位量を超えた際に、上部変位規制部及び下部変位規制部により水平方向への移動が規制されて、剪断変形する。【選択図】図4
