PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a lock opening/closing device for making it possible to easily lock and unlock a door by manual operation in addition to by remote operation.SOLUTION: A lock opening/closing device 10 includes: a thumb turn rotation unit 70 that can be fitted to a thumb turn 40 of a door 41 and rotates the thumb turn 40; and a motor 90 that is driven by remote operation. The lock opening/closing device also includes: a rotation drive mechanism 71 that rotates the thumb turn rotation unit 70 by using power of the motor 90; a manual rotation unit 72 that is fixed on the thumb turn rotation unit 70 and rotates the thumb turn rotation unit 70 by manual operation; and a clutch mechanism 120 capable of intercepting transfer of power between the thumb turn rotation unit 70 and the motor 90 of the rotation drive mechanism 71 in rotating the thumb turn rotation unit 70 by using the manual rotation unit 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
