To provide an opening/closing lock device that is configured to achieve compatibility between an improvement of reliability in retention strength of a locked state in a locking mechanism and an expansion of an arrangement range of a rotation shaft in order to reduce an operation load at the time of turning of a knob.SOLUTION: An opening/closing lock device includes a housing 22, a knob 24, and a key cylinder 30 (locking mechanism). The key cylinder 30 has a plate 38 inserted from the radial direction of a rotor 32. The plate 38 rotates following the rotational movement of the rotor 32 and rotates following the rotational movement of the knob 24. The housing 22 has a first receiving surface 41 which intersects with the plate 38 in the depth direction of the housing 22, at which the rotational phase position of the rotor 32 is a position at which the knob 24 is in a locked state, and the plate 38 is prevented from rotating. When an imaginary plane along the plane where the plate 38 and the first receiving surface 41 are in contact is called a first imaginary plane 41F, a rotating shaft 26 in the knob 24 is set on the front side in the depth direction with respect to the first imaginary plane 41F.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
