PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolator having a new structure of superior isolation property.SOLUTION: A seismic isolator [S] comprises: a first seismic isolator member [1] including a first base plate [10], and a first protrusion [11] protruded from one surface side of the first base plate and having at least of its part a first abutting part [11b] composed of a spherical surface; and a second seismic isolator member [2] including a second base plate [20], and a second protrusion [21] protruded from one surface side of the second base plate and having at least of its part a second abutting part [21b] composed of a spherical surface, the first and second seismic isolator members placed between a base block [B] and a structure [C]. The first seismic isolator member and the second seismic isolator member are oppositely arranged to cause the first abutting part and the second abutting part to be abutted and vibration [oscillation] between the first protrusion and the second protrusion is dispersed and transmitted to cause its restriction or reduction to be carried out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
