PRODUCTION METHOD OF ORIENTED CERAMICS SINTERED COMPACT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an oriented ceramics sintered compact having a high degree of orientation by using a magnetic field orientation.SOLUTION: A production method of an oriented ceramics sintered compact is provided that comprises the steps of: pouring a slurry containing tubular grains into a container and applying a magnetic field of 0.1 T or larger to the slurry to cause the tubular grains in the slurry to orient in the direction of the magnetic field; removing and/or solidifying a solvent to prepare a compact in which the tubular grains are oriented in the direction of the magnetic field; and sintering the compact to prepare an oriented ceramics sintered compact in which at least a part of sintered particles are oriented in the direction of the magnetic field.SELECTED DRAWING: None
