MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SILICON CARBIDE SINTERED BODY
To provide a manufacturing method of a silicon carbide sintered body capable of higher accuracy dimensional control.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a silicon carbide sintered body including a process 1 for adding water to a raw material mixture containing a carbonized silicon powder and a binder, and containing or not containing a carbon source other than carbonized silicon and the binder, mixing, molding and drying them in this order to obtain a dried body, a process 2 for heating and removing an organic article from the dried body obtained in the process 1, and a process 3 for burning a defatted body obtained in the process 2 under inert atmosphere to obtain the silicon carbide sintered body, and including controlling expansion shrinkage factor of the sintered body in the process 3 by adjusting one, two or three selected from a group consisting of (1) an amount of the carbon source other than silicon carbide and the binder in the raw material mixture, (2) an amount of the binder in the raw material mixture and (3) a defatting rate in the process 2.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】より高精度な寸法制御が可能な炭化珪素質焼結体の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】炭化珪素粉末、バインダーを含み、且つ、炭化珪素及びバインダー以外の炭素源を含む又は含まない原料混合物に水を添加し、混練、成形、及び乾燥を順に行って、乾燥体を得る工程１と、工程１により得られた乾燥体から有機物を加熱除去する工程２と、工程２により得られた脱脂体を、不活性雰囲気下で焼成し、炭化珪素質焼結体を得る工程３と、を含む炭化珪素質焼結体の製造方法であって、（１）原料混合物中の炭化珪素及びバインダー以外の炭素源の量、（２）原料混合物中のバインダー量、及び（３）工程２における脱脂率よりなる群から選択される一つ、二つ又は三つを調整することにより、工程３における焼結体の膨張収縮率を制御することを含む製造方法。【選択図】なし
